Cellist Leah Plave performs Zosha’s Anssi de suite… for solo cello during the “Evolution of the String Quartet” program at the Banff Centre. The program is designed to allow the performers and the faculty to explore the entire canon of string quartet music, with no restrictions on genre or artist. Other music on the program includes Shostakovich’s Quartet No. 3 and a Banff participant composer premiere.
