The album features six eclectic chamber and solo works, both acoustic and electro-acoustic. The performers represent some of the most renowned contemporary artists today: vocal ensemble Ekmeles, Talea Ensemble, JACK Quartet, pianist Julia Den Boer, the International Contemporary Ensemble (ICE), Yarn/Wire, and percussionist Diego Espinosa Cruz Gonzalez in a special bonus video feature.

Tachitipo also highlights a unique collaboration with one of the top recording engineer-producers for classical music, Martha de Francisco, and the internationally-recognized conductor, Lorraine Vaillancourt, founder and musical director of the Nouvel Ensemble Moderne in Montreal.
